Contestants 18 years of age and under must have a 2019 RELEASE FORM signed by a parent or legal guardian and notarized before competing!!
CONTESTANT ENTRIES Call-In # 618-218-0182 - call in dates and times will be posted in the Facebook event page for each rodeo and on whippoorwillrodeo.com, remember call in will always be 2 Mondays before the rodeo, for example - McLeansboro Rodeo is June 22nd, contestant entry is June 10th.
CONTESTANTS PLEASE be checked in a hour prior to the rodeo performance!!!

COMMITTEE AT EACH EVENT
A Rope Barrier will be used in the Breakaway, Steer Wrestling, & Tie-Down Roping.
A Electric Eye Barrier will be used in the Team Roping.
A $20 late entry fee per event for all late entries , will be added to entry fees, NO EXCEPTIONS!
If you are not able to compete and do not draw out 24 hours prior to the rodeo performance you are still responsible for your entry fees. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
Contestants must compete & pay
entry fees at 9 regular season rodeos per event to qualify for the 2019
Whippoorwill Rodeo Finals. The 2019 Whippoorwill Rodeo Finals is not considered
a regular season rodeo.
Only money won in an event will count for that event, you may not combine event earnings. In the case of a tie, we will go off of a point system. Contestants to be eligible for year end awards you MUST compete and pay fees at 9 regular season rodeos.
The top 12 contestants with the most money won in an event, that have met the requirements will qualify for the 2019 Whippoorwill Rodeo Finals in that event. The contestant with the most money won in an event at the end of the 2019 season (including the 2019 Whippoorwill Rodeo Finals) will be the event Champion.
YEAR END HIGH MONEY WINNER- ALL AROUND - The contestant with the most money won in 2 or more events at the end of the 2019 season (including the 2019 Whippoorwill Rodeo Finals) will be the 2019 Whippoorwill Rodeo All Around Champion. To be eligible the contestant must enter and pay fees at 9 regular season rodeos in 1 or more events and must win money in 2 or more events throughout the regular season rodeos. Team Roping will count as 1 event for the all around.
If for any reason a contestant qualifying for the 2019 Whippoorwill Rodeo Finals can not compete a written form of verification is required, if due to injury a doctor’s release or vet release is required NO EXCEPTIONS. Whippoorwill Rodeo will roll up the next qualifying contestant.
